| Castle Kennedy Gardens offer a unique experience to see a large landscaped garden in beautiful unspoilt scenary. Refreshments are also available in the small tearoom attached to the entry point to the garden. Refreshments at present are teas and home baking produced in the Kitchens of Lochinch Castle on a daily basis. A selection of sandwiches is also available.
Also attached to the entry to the garden is a Plant centre, which is stocked with a variety of plants, both produced in the garden, and grown on from youngstock bought in as surplus to our own requirements. A similar selection can be found on our shopping page, and it may even be worth contacting us to discover if we can obtain a plant for you that you cannot find on our shopping page.
Visitors arriving by bus are advised to book in advance through our contact page to ensure that full directions are sent for the coach driver. Due to a narrow gate and a bridge suitable only for light vehicles, the main coach park is some 300m from the garden entrance. With guidance, a bus can be brought to the entrance to the garden, useful particularly for elderly visitors.
Facilities are also suitable for disabled access, although wheel chair users should be aware that all paths are grass and that some difficulty may result. |
